Maastricht was voted best shopping city of HollandRoam through Maastricht's historic streets and stop for coffee and vlaai (a delicious kind of fruit tart, and the local speciality) at one of the many pavement cafés or cosy bars! Shops are generally open from 13.00 until 18.00 on Monday. From Tuesday until Friday from 9.00 until 18.00 and on Saturday from 9.00 until 17.00. Late shopping on Thursdays till 21.00. Every first Sunday of the month and some extra Sundays, shops are also open.
