F.J. van Dongen,1990-1995 Wilhelminaplein Leeuwarden Located along the Stadsgracht on the rim of the old town, the various auditoriums of this theater are treated as discrete elements, set in a largely rectangular volume; to the south is a strip of offices and service space. The residual space between the auditoriums acts as a foyer. All but fully clad in semi-transparent glass panels, it turns the building in to a shadow pantomime by night.
