The Dutch Wadden islands, situated in the very north of Holland, are accessible by ferry. The five Dutch Wadden islands are Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland, Schiermonnikoog. If you would like to go island hopping than use the special Wadden Ticket. This ticket entitles you to travel by train or bus to the harbor and to the ferry itself. More about these topics in the sections 'Island Hopping' and 'Special Wadden Ticket'.

Rates, frequency of crossing times and sailing times are given in the seperate island sections. These also tell you whether or not cars are permitted on the island in question.
