Rembrandt’s Night Watch in Delft Blue
In 2006, Holland celebrates the 400th birthday of Rembrandt. Now you can see Rembrandt’s famous 'Night Watch' painted in Delft blue, a life size masterpiece by Holland’s last remaining Delftware manufacturer of the 17th century.

Since 2000, the life size masterpiece 'The Night Watch' in Delft blue has been a unique point of attention. For next year, new products and activities will be developed within the Rembrandt theme. You can paint like Rembrandt in the special 'Rembrandt Tile Painting Workshop', or you can witness the production of a limited series of the 'Night Watch' in Delft blue (5 smaller tile paintings). You might be able to view a finished part of the picture. There will also be a Rembrandt portrait gallery where you can find a selection ornamental plates with portraits made by Rembrandt, depicting himself, his son Titus and other relatives, all hand-painted in Delft blue. In the showroom a completely new line of Rembrandt products will be offered, such as self-portraits of Rembrandt on tiles, plates, cups and more.

In addition to our popular Delft blue tile painting workshop, we are introducing new workshops. For example, painting according to the polychrome technique (multicolor technique), or making your own Christmas ornament. For the true Delft blue admirer there is now even a painting course of several days, where you can learn all the ins and outs of traditional hand-painting.
