's-Hertogenbosch's maze of medieval alleys is great to explore by foot, or marvel at picturesque bridges and perfectly preserved historic buildings on a canal tour on the Binnendieze river. Tours depart several times a day from near the Sint-Jan Cathedral - look out for canal boat tour De Binnendieze or De Grootte Stroom

Sint-Jan Cathedral
Built between 1336 and 1550, the magnificent Sint-Jan Cathedral dominates the cities. Its one of the finest Gothic churches in Holland and still filled with beautiful features like the great organ, which dates back to 1618. You can also climb up the cathedral towers and enjoy the view over the city.

Noordbrabants Museum
The Noordbrabants Museum is housed in the former governor's noble mansion and sports a very modern wing and delightful sculpture garden. The highlight of the collection are works by Jheronimus Bosch. The Dutch painter grew up in 's-Hertogenbosch, although no one really knows who he was. A statue of the artist can be found on the main market square.

's-Hertogenbosch town hall
The classic baroque style building dates back to the 17th century and guided tours take place regularly. The impressive hall and monumental council room make the townhall one of the most impressive historic buildings in 's-Hertogenbosch.
