Eindhoven’s nightlife will stay with you long after you’ve left. The many different areas are within walking distance of each other. Pubs are open until 4 am on Fridays and Saturdays and on other days, until 2 am.

The Markt
Particularly known for its Grand Cafes and centre stage for numerous events and festivals throughout the year, this a great place to enjoy good food and a fun night out in a relaxed atmosphere.

Stratumseind
The Stratumseind is Holland's longest pub street and especially popular with students. As its name indicates, the road originally connected the city of Eindhoven to the town Stratum. However, over the last few centuries its historic houses have been transformed into cafés and clubs. Make sure you take a look at Stratumseind 23a! The old Concert Hall used to be home to the Eindhoven Male Choir, but now houses a spectacular late night bar.

Other
The atmosphere in the Dommelstraat is determined by pubs and the trend-setting cultural centre De Effenaar. On the Stationsplein, you will find several grand cafés and pubs, as well as Eindhoven’s famous club the Danssalon. For live acts, go to the Wilhelminaplein, an old part of Eindhoven that is still in a reasonably original state. From here, walk through the narrow streets towards De Bergen, where friendly, cosy bars serve meals in pre-war buildings and attract an artistic public.
