't Bolwerk
This cafe, which faces the charming old harbor, is well-known among students and alumni. The famous bar is located on the ground floor of Europe's first skyscraper, The White House. You may be allowed to have a look in the cellar, where crates are stacked between the massive meters-thick foundations of this unusual monument. From the pavement tables you can enjoy a view of the dynamic old harbor, where dozens of floating monuments are moored and undergoing restoration.

Doelencafe
The Doelencafe, along with Locus Publicus, is the proud property of a brewery, known as Stadsbrouwerij de Pelgrim. It is located in historical Delfshaven. Every season the bar comes up with a new type of beer. You can try the results any day of the week at the Doelencafe, or at Locus Publicus and, of course, Stadsbrouwerij de Pelgrim itself. As the name implies, the cafe is located next to De Doelen congress and convention center. Sitting at the outdoor tables during the summer you have a good view of Schouwburgplein.

Jazz Café Dizzy
With some 100 concerts a year, Dizzy is much more than a cheerful jazz bar. For over a quarter-century this well-known cafe has occupied an important place in Holland’s jazz world. While enjoying the good music at Dizzy you can have a drink and a tasty meal. Weather permitting, you can sit in the charming city garden. Dizzy’s doors are open all week from 10 a.m. From Sundays to Thursdays they don't close before 2 a.m. On Fridays and Saturdays the place is open an extra hour. Every Tuesday at 10 p.m. there is excellent live music. From October to April performances are also held on Sunday at 4 p.m.

Locus Publicus
Locus Publicus, is located in the former De Gruyter grocery, where you can admire original tile scenes made in 1900. While listening to the strains of Mozart or Bach you can enjoy a beer from the huge selection of some 200 served here. Locus Publicus has for years been an institution in Kralingen. This is the pub for the true beer enthusiast.

De Pelgrim
Located in historic Delfshaven, next to Pelgrimvaders church is the Stadsbrouwerij (city brewery) de Pelgrim, the only beer producer in Rotterdam. This is a place to look after carefully and be proud of. Apart from being a brewery, De Pelgrim is also a restaurant. You can try the brewery's own beer or take a guided tour. You can even get married in the Guild Room.

Anouds Vermeulen
In the heart of Rotterdam, in the Delfshaven district, lies one of the oldest cafes in the city. Since 1903 very little of the original interior has changed. The wooden wainscoting runs through the entire establishment. It is decorated with flower paintings by the Rotterdam artist and cafe painter, Funke. The pub also features Jugendstil stained-glass windows, a 5,5 meter-high and an exclusive selection of beers.
