Since its establishment in 1928, Saur has resided at one of the most attractive locations in The Hague, on Lange Voorhout. The stateliness of this street is reflected in the grand interior of the restaurant - an interior which is 'contemporary though rather dull'. 'The terrace makes a fantastic spot for an al fresco lunch when the weather is nice'. 'Unfortunately, the sophisticated food is somewhat disappointing.' 'Top-quality ingredients' are used, but 'the end product occasionally leaves something to be desired'. Saur expanded and now boasts a brasserie as well.
