Amsterdam RAI has been expanded with the addition of an entirely new building. The modern and innovative Elicium enables the RAI to serve its customers better by providing top quality facilities. The Elicium is built in the RAI Congresplein (the square) between the Europa and Holland complexes, and on top of the underground car parking lots (P2 and P7). The building has a basic surface area of 3,400 m2. As of January 1, 2009 It is available for a wide range of events.                           

Elicium ballroom                             
The ballroom offers high-quality and exclusive accommodations for all events. The fully decorated space is ideal for large (gala) dinners, parties, exhibitions, congresses, product presentations, fashion and road shows, as well as receptions. Large-scale registration of visitors is also possible. The ballroom will consist of a large pillar-free space which can be divided by sliding walls. It is possible to organize a sit-down dinner for up to 1200 guests. When arranged as a theatre, this ‘Ballroom’ can accommodate a maximum of 2500 people. Such options make it one of the largest locations of its kind in the Netherlands.                        

Elicium congress rooms                       
Four rooms intended for congresses are situated halfway above the first floor. Arranged as a theatre, they can accommodate 100 people each. By removing the sliding walls, two larger halls are created with twice the capacity. 
 
Elicium meeting rooms                                        
A new, unique meeting location near the Zuidas business district. Amsterdam RAI now provides 20 flexible meeting rooms with top facilities on the third, fourth and fifth floors of the Elicium. These unique spaces can be rented as standalone and are suitable for meetings, courses and seminars from five to 60 people. They also have stunning views over the city, making them the perfect location for your gatherings near the Amsterdam Zuidas business district!
 
All three floors of the Elicium feature a spacious and modern lounge that can be used for various purposes. Amsterdam RAI Catering can arrange excellent breaks, lunches, drinks or dinners during courses, meetings and/or seminars. A wide range of options can be provided: from standard to luxurious; from healthy salads and tasty snacks to the perfect late-night energy boost.
