On Sundays between 20th July and 10th August, the Blue Boat Company is offering a canal trip in keeping with the Gay Pride theme. They’ll sail along places in the city which are and were of importance to the gay emancipation in Amsterdam. For Gay Pride, there will be an extra canal trip on Friday, 1st August. The Rainbow Cruise costs € 14.50 and lasts an hour and a quarter, with a guide giving commentary in Dutch and English. The canal boat leaves at 16:45 from the jetty opposite the Gay Monument in the Keizersgracht. The cruise ends at 18:00 at the jetty by the Eden Hotel on the Amstel.

The Rainbow Cruise is being organised together with Orange Bike. If you show your cruise ticket, you will receive a 10% discount on bike rentals from Orange Bike.
