Between June and September of 2008 this will be more the case than ever, because this is when Apeldoorn and the surrounding area will host a 100-day happening celebrating culture, gardens and landscapes.

The events, exhibitions, readings and debates that will take place shall surprise visitors and stimulate professionals to think about their choices. It will also determine the agenda of national and international politics on this subject. Apeldoorn will be a hotbed of discourse in the Netherlands and Europe: on the beauty of gardens and landscapes, on the changing landscape, on the garden as passionate hobby and much more.

Not only will you be able to enjoy the real, painted, sketched, interpreted and radical landscapes, but also the real and private gardens of hospitable locals. The environment, local greenery, nature and culture will be in the spotlight for 100 days. A must-see for anyone with an interest in culture, gardens and landscape.
