Bicycle tour Jewish Amsterdam

Hidden treasures of Jewish Amsterdam
This 17 kikometer bicycle route follows picturesque and safe cycle paths that pass the visible remnants of a rich history of Jewish life spanning centuries. Amsterdam served as an important centre for Judaism between the 17th century and 1942. After the holocaust, new generations picked up the thread and Jewish cultural and religious life has begun to blossom again. The route consists of two parts: a small circuit of 3-kilometres through the oldest Jewish neighbourhoods. The route then heads off to the east and south, returning to the starting point. Also available in Dutch and Hebrew.
