Contemporary expressive arts from August 3 until October 26 2008. 

Excited about strolling along in a beautiful ancient country estate, and at the same time enjoying contemporary expressive arts? Join us at Groot Vijversburg in Tytsjerk, Friesland, the Netherlands. Thirteen national and international artists present their works of art, inspired by the theme Time is short and definite, derived from the sundial in the park.
 
Selection
Art historian and curator Ankie Boomstra selected the participating artists and asked them to create new work, fitting the theme. She also selected a few existing pieces for Vijversburg VI.

Schippers (Amsterdam), Luk van Soom (Rijkevorsel), Koen Vanmechelen (Meeuwen-Gruitrode), Sander Jorn Vermeulen (Groningen), Henk Visch (Eindhoven), Dré Wapenaar (Rotterdam), Uli Westphal (Berlin), Jan van IJzendoorn (Oosterbeek).

Cultural program
Every Sunday during the time of the exhibition, there will be a cultural program in the park from 15.00h, with music, poetry, dance etc. Entrance fee € 2,00.

Opening hours
Every day from 09.00h until 18.00h. Entrance is free (except for Sundays).
