Europe's largest Butterfly Valley (Luttelgeest)

For many years the ‘Orchideeën Hoeve’ (Orchids Farm) is a very well known fact by many nature lovers. In the area of exhibiting special plants and cultures in tropical gardens they are even as much as authoritative in Europe.

On 5 April 2008 will be opened a real Butterfly Valley of more than 1.500 m² surface area.
It is already in the name: thousands of butterflies fluttering freely through the valley and along the steep rock slopes. Many colorful, blossoming plants supply the butterflies with nectar, and numerous streams supply the butterflies with moisture, in other words a very special and renewing garden.
