When are we open?

In 2009 we are open from March 19 to May 21 (including Sundays and public holidays) Keukenhof is open from 8.00 am to 7.30 pm daily (ticket office closes at 6 pm).

Spring bulbs form the core of Keukenhof.

The name says it all: these bulbs bloom in spring. Keukenhof is therefore only open during this period. The other months are intended for maintenance activities at the park, and obviously for planting the bulbs, so that we can present colour and flowering splendour to you the following spring.

When do the bulbs bloom?

Flower bulbs are a product of nature. Therefore nature determines when the spring bulbs will bloom. The temperature is a deciding factor there; with a cold spring it takes longer for the bulbs to bloom than with a warmer spring. I’m sure you can understand that at Keukenhof we always hope for a spring with a lovely sun and pleasant temperatures, so that our visitors can appreciate the flowering bulbs for a long time.
