During the period of  December12, 2007 through January 6, 2008 the Bijbels (Biblical) museum will be decorated in the spirit of Christmas. Garland and pine wreathes will adorn the marble entrance and seventeenth-century kitchen. A variety of events will take place during this time. On 25 December a Christmas concert will be held at 1:30pm and 15:00 and on 26 December a special Alles in de wind Christmas sing-along for toddlers and pre-schoolers. On December 29 and 30 and on January 2, 5 and 6 at 2:00pm a theatrical narration of the exhibition ‘Giotto in Amsterdam’ will be held in the chapel with the fresco’s of Giotto. The museum is situated in one of Amsterdam’s most stunning canal-side estates. The seventeenth and eighteenth-century interior is for the most part intact, including the ceiling mural by Jacob de Wit in the rear hall.
