On 6 and 7 July 2007 a swinging party will take place on the most impressive roof of the Netherlands. Set in a sort of amphitheatre with a panoramic cityscape backdrop, the mood is made when the sky darkens with the evening hours. The event showcases bands from all over the world, and includes an after-party this year across the water in jazz club BIMhuis. Guests are transported to the club in boats. The programme includes jazz, improvisation, cross-over and new jazz interpretation. The event is part of Amsterdam’s theme year, Amsterdam: Feel the Rhythm - music & dance.
