It is the former arrival and departure hall of the holland america line. And now, once again the great passenger liners are mooring here. You will also see restored warehouses where students live. Additional features are the maritime safety center and hotel new york. The latter was the headquarters of the holland america line, built by c.b. Van der tak, drooglever fortuyn and j. Müller in 1901. Since 1993 it has been a hotel and grand cafe named Hotel New York.
