Internet can offer so much more timely data these days, something no longer possible with destination brochures, printed on an annual or bi-annual basis. The Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) also conducted a customer satisfaction research program among "Holland Travelers." Based on the responses, NBTC concluded that the time was right to replace our traditional information packages distribution system with website information only. Therefore, as of January 1, 2005, distribution of printed matter has been discontinued.
