In the city center of Breda, you can enjoy sitting in the sun while having a nice cold drink. One of the market places in Breda turns into a great terrace when the sun starts showing and the weather starts warming up. Even when the weather is still a little chilly, or just cooling down late at night, some terraces are heated so  business can go on. The Havermarkt is home to several bars and restaurants, and is used for festivals as well. The Havermarkt is very popular with the local students, and when the school year starts a big student introduction festival takes places in the city center.
