Overnight stay in Broek in Waterland

De Schaapskooi The accommodation owes its name, which means ‘sheep pen’, to one of the shelters where the flock is kept in pens when the lambing season begins. ‘De Schaapskooi’ provides the comfort of a luxury hotel room with the peace of the countryside. At the back there is a terrace right by the water, where you can enjoy the peace and open space. The farm actively participates in the protection of meadow birds and management of the canal banks in a bid to restore nature as far as possible to its former glory. Everything is therefore allowed to flourish to its heart’s content. You are welcome to come into the sheds, even at lambing time. Because the farm is on a public road, many people come on foot, by bike or by car to see the lambs. This means they are enjoyed by both young and old!
